Colette Koehr, RN

Bio:

Colette Koehr is a dedicated registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America, where she graduated with distinction in May 2024. A member of the University Honors Program, Colette earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Catholic University Conway Scholar award, consistent placement on the Dean’s List, and membership in the Phi Eta Sigma and Psi Chi honor societies.

Her clinical experience spans diverse specialties, including women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, and cardiac care. Colette has worked with esteemed institutions such as INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus and Children’s National Hospital, where she participated in the Conway Pathfinder & Launch Program, gaining hands-on expertise in neuroscience and family-centered care.

Beyond her clinical work, Colette is deeply committed to advancing nursing education and ethics. She has served as a student representative on the Conway School of Nursing Evaluation Committee and played a pivotal role in organizing The Catholic University of America’s inaugural Ethics Symposium. Additionally, her dedication to mentorship shines through her role as an academic tutor in pharmacology, health assessment, and nursing fundamentals.

Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and AED, Colette is also CITI Ethics and NIMS-ICS certified. Her commitment to holistic, patient-centered care and her passion for nursing education reflect her mission to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. Colette lives in Bristow with her husband and enjoys cooking, going on walks and learning ASL.
